Potensi Pendapatan dari Pengelolaan Air Resapan di Ruang Terbuka Hijau Kalijodo
Abstract
The Kalijodo Green Open Space (GOS) which has a vegetated land area of 48%, does not meet the ideal criteria for a GOS, which should have a minimum vegetated land area of 80%. With this area, the water absorption capacity of the Kalijodo GOS is only 45% from what it should be 75%. The ability to absorb water can impact the potential income generated if the infiltration water in the Kalijodo GOS is managed properly. This study aims to determine the potential income generated if the management of infiltration water in the Kalijodo GOS is carried out by comparing the management of infiltration water in current conditions to the ideal conditions using comparative descriptive analysis methods. The results showed that the community served by the distribution of clean water from the infiltration water management process at the Kalijodo GOS in its current condition was 348 people (87 households). This number is less than the number of people served by the distribution of clean water from infiltration water management under ideal conditions, which is 580 people (145 households). The income generated from the management of infiltration water in the Kalijodo GOS in its current condition compared to the management of infiltration water in the ideal conditions shows a loss or shortfall of Rp45,518,400. Thus, the condition of the Kalijodo green space needs to be improved according to the ideal area of vegetated land to increase the ability to absorb water so that the number of people who get access to clean water and the income from the infiltration water management increase
